1 / 3Gracemount Leisure Centre
π Scotland
Community leisure centre in Edinburgh with a 25-metre pool, sauna, two fitness studios, and over 750 weekly classes including aquafit, pilates, and postnatal sessions. Free parking on site.
Martial Arts Club for Tang Soo Do classes. Friendly classes for all age groups. Great for keeping flexible and fit.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families attending structured classes β swimming lessons, martial arts, and fitness sessions are the strongest offering here. Arrive before mid-afternoon on school days to avoid the gym becoming very crowded. Parents with young children in swimming lessons will find instructors attentive and the variety of class times accommodating.

βLovely staff, lovely gym with good equipment and the team take good care with hygiene. There is a variety of amazing classes. I have the full membership and itβs worth the money however my one complaint is the amount of school kids taking up the gym from 15:30 onwards, the problem is that they come in groups of 5 or so and so it makes the gym crowded when the gym isnβt even that big. It would be great if the centre could facilitate some rules or policies for to aid this problem. Other than that I love love love this centreβ

βCentre staff are pleasant and facilities inside good. The gym facilities are good. Beware some of the fitness classes are now done in the dark, so not suitable for all. There is no indication on the timetable which classes are in the dark. The swimming is rarely open for general swimming and almost impossible to go if you work 9-5 Monday to Friday. Car parking is difficult and the road outside is chaos with so many cars at school start and finish times.β

Overview
Gracemount Leisure Centre runs a 25-metre pool, sauna, two group fitness studios, a sports hall, and a gym. Over 750 weekly classes cover pilates, yoga, aquafit, bodypump, zumba, and postnatal and prenatal sessions. A carved NW Pacific totem pole on site surprises first-time visitors. School groups use the gym from mid-afternoon on weekdays, which significantly affects available space.
