π Edinburgh, Scotland
Well-maintained park with an enclosed central playground, woodland walking trails featuring carved wooden animals, and open fields for picnics and sports. Views of Arthur's Seat and the Firth of Forth. Free entry.
Just rescued my wee Blue girl a great place if you want to rescue a greyhound the people are so friendless and welcoming to everyone don't miss out if you want a forever friend . I'm so glad I went and every Sunday going on the walk with all the grayhounds and friends xxπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπΎπππππππ
π Family Action Verdict
Excellent for families with children of all ages who want playground time plus outdoor exploration in one visit. The enclosed playground provides a secure base for younger children, and the woodland trail with carved animals gives older children something to seek out.

βReally nice park with an excellent walking trail in some woods, a playground for kids, and big lawn areas for picnics or sports or what have you. I particularly liked the little carved wooden animals scattered throughout!β

βFabulous park. Can't really fault it. And if you lucky, you can let the kids feed grass to the horses by the wee farm by the fence perimeterβ

Overview
Seven Acre Park in Edinburgh combines an enclosed playground with woodland walking trails, open grass fields, and views across to Arthur's Seat and the Firth of Forth. Carved wooden animals are dotted along the trails. A farm fence at the park perimeter gives children the chance to feed grass to horses. Bins are placed throughout. Off-leash areas make it popular with dog owners as well as families.
