1 / 3Grass Hoppers Indoor & Outdoor Play (Tingley Garden Centre)
📍 Tingley, Yorkshire
Dual indoor-outdoor play centre for ages up to 10 at Tingley Garden Centre. Indoor soft play with two large slides, outdoor adventure area with zip wire and swings, dedicated toddler zones, and Woody's Kitchen cafe with QR ordering.
Giving 5 stars after our 1st visit but must say that this is based upon my first experience of a playgym in many years, therfore nothing to compare to and also upon our limited experience yesterday, ie the gated under 3s section only, we didn't use catering /toilets, extended play areas ie police / vets. Member of staff on entry friendly and helpful, areas used clean and light and a large selection of activities to keep my 16 month old granddaughter occupied and happy for the hour that we played. Being a Monday morning it was not too busy and all families were conscious and considerate of tiny ones in the area. Definitely somewhere that we'll go back back, once nanny has recovered from her exhausting hour racing around on her hands and knees.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
An excellent option for families with children aged 1-10 who want indoor and outdoor play in one visit. The toddler zone is gated and age-appropriate for under-3s, and older children do enter at times — stay close with very young children. Monday mornings are notably quieter.

“Well what can I say. Your business is just amazing in every possible way. My 2&half year Grandson loves it as do myself and Grandad. Jackson drags me around the massive play area which we both enjoy. Loads for him to do and we both thoroughly enjoy it. The staff are so very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We love it and so happy we found you. Thank you.”

“This is one of the best baby cafes I have been to so far. It's very big and they have a great indoor area, with at least two big slides. It's perfect for children 2 and above. I will definitely come back.”

“Always a fun place to take my grandson after school. Only problem is we only have about 45 mins of the session after school as it takes time to get there. Then after paying within 30 minutes the speaker is announcing that the session is coming to an end, then after another 5 mins it is coming to an end and get your snacks etc. Then this session is now closed about 5 minutes before the end of the session. It kind of spoils it a bit.”
