They throw a good birthday party. A lady there takes the kids upstairs after aan hour in the playgym for food and dancing competitions. Kids love it and shes really good with them.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best suited for birthday party bookings, where the dedicated host, LED dance floor, and character options create a structured, memorable session for children. Casual drop-in visits have attracted mixed reviews regarding cleanliness and staff engagement.

Upon first arriving it looked quite promising, the actual play gym area is a lovely size and plenty to do. Staff gave the impression they wanted to be anywhere but there, not much interaction upon arrival or at any point during our visit. Was disappointed with the cleanliness of the place, whilst going round the play gym with my daughter I was shocked by the amounts of dust and build up all around the gym, something a simple clean/vac would fix? We didn’t stay very long as it was off putting.

Dull party room, unclean and unsafe handling of food allergens. After having a positive experience of Jungle Catz previously, we decided to hold our son's party there. Disappointing unfortunately doesn't sum up our experience. The brightly coloured aesthetic walls that were once upstairs in the party room (which are currently still advertised on the website) are now drab and dull as the premises is now also used as a nursery throughout the week. This information was not shared throughout the booking process and had the images of the room been updated we would have NOT booked the party. Not only was the upstairs party room not as advertised, but it was full of nursery equipment and very unclean. I asked for the floor to be hoovered prior to the children going up for their lunch and this was not done. During lunch a table cover, which was covered in paint was used as one of the tablecloths for children to eat their lunch from. Most concerning of all however is the lack of awareness and care for food allergies. As previously stated we have had a positive experience at JungleCatz however there was a clear lack of care taken today which led to two children being given food items that were unsafe for them to have despite the business having prior warning of their food allergies and insisting that they could cater for them. Luckily these items of food were spotted by the children and parents prior to eating it but when staff were asked they simply dismissed it as it wasn't their individual error. Management were made aware of the complaints but were quick to dismiss the uncleanliness and drab, missold appearance of the party room as being due to the summer holidays. *All decorations in room were self provided. This is an accurate account of my personal experience and opinion of JungleCatz.

Really small place to take the kids. Such a shame as I've read lots of good reviews. Feels claustrophobic, could be difficult to get in due to the steps outside the entrance, buggy area at the front only has space for 2 buggies, someone came in after me & inconsiderably left their scooters on the floor behind my buggy making it even more difficult to get out of here. Small play kitchen area dilapidated & something I'd expect to see at a local stay & play group - not something I'd expect to pay £4.50 for. Main jungle gym area extremely small, with the two biggest kids sat throwing balls in the baby area made it too dangerous for my baby to play in. Staff do not engage with parents or kids to reinforce any rules which they have on a sign on the wall, so I imagine it can be chaos here. One friendly staff member on duty who forgot which coffee was mine & I'm not a big fan of sharing the same sugar as everyone else as they don't offer individual condiments. The place felt dirty & a bit sticky, I think the building is just too small for this kind of business. Kids need space & it's way too cramped in here. Only saw one CCTV camera which was located on the main door, there might be more cameras I couldn't see but child safety should be paramount not an afterthought. Stayed 20 minutes & was glad to leave.

Overview

Junglecatz runs a multi-level soft play frame with bridges, slides, and tubes for ages 0–8, plus a party room with LED light-up dance floor. Birthday party sessions include hosted games, food, and character options. The venue also runs messy play, dance, and exercise classes. Adult seating is available alongside the play frame. Buggy storage at entrance is very restricted. Steps at the entrance can be difficult for pushchairs. The party room décor has changed from earlier website photos.
