1 / 3Hollywood Bowl Birmingham Resorts World
📍 Marston Green, West Midlands
Hollywood Bowl Birmingham features 21 lanes including VIP booths, an arcade with prize redemption, pool tables, air hockey, and an American diner. Located in the Resorts World complex near Birmingham Airport with full disabled access.
Came by for a game of bowling and had a really good time. The venue is spacious, clean, and has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it enjoyable whether you’re with friends or family. We booked a VIP booth, which I definitely recommend if you want a bit more privacy and comfort while playing as it makes the experience feel a little more special. We also ordered a couple of drinks and some salty bites, and they were tasty and hit the spot. Service throughout was friendly and professional, which made the visit even smoother. What really stood out is how much there is to do beyond bowling…plenty of arcade games, pool tables, air hockey, and more, so kids and adults can keep entertained for hours. It’s very family friendly and a great option for a fun day or night out. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a mix of bowling, games, and good vibes.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want bowling and arcade games in a spacious, clean venue and are willing to eat elsewhere or plan around slow service. VIP booths improve the bowling experience for groups wanting privacy. The arcade alone justifies a visit for children who enjoy prize redemption games.

“This is a great arcade. Has a great range of games and even have pool tables for those who don't want to play games. Their are two arcades in resorts world this one i personally don't think is as good as the other one but they are both great. Their are machines in which you can get change out of which the other one doesn't offer and that is convenient.”

“The location and place itself is not bad. My kids enjoy the games and bowling. The only thing that let's it down is the staff and food. I ordered a jug of drink for the kids and received half a jug as I told the "what looked like a manager" to remove the ice. Even when receiving the food, the guy might as well thrown it our way. We got our meal, which was 3 simple finger food and nacho. We ended up leaving the nacho as there was a foul smell coming from the guacamole and the sour cream looked like spray cream. I recommend to go elsewhere for food.”

“Spent a few hours here this afternoon ... All I can say is what an experience!! Staff were so rude obviously didn't have a clue what they were doing took an absolute age to get a drink and I even witnessed one lady being ignored to the point she was in tears feeling embarrassed. The facilities on the other hand are great and if you go on another day when these staff aren't on I'm sure you'd love it. Just don't go on a Friday afternoon!!!”
