📍 Kilsyth, Central Scotland
Role-play centre in Kilsyth with over 10 themed zones including fire station, vet clinic, supermarket, and school. Sessions run 60 to 120 minutes. Party hire with exclusive access includes disco entertainment. Weekly baby and toddler clubs available.
We taken our daughter to kiltoonies as we have been trying to build up her confidence in being out in public and exploring new places, she has a great deal of anxiety and sensory issues and some places can be hit or miss depending on many factors, as parents we have experienced judgement for our child having a meltdown and what seems like a screaming tantrum is actually a child who's in sensory overload and scared! When we first went into the building we were greeted by a lovely welcome, at this point our daughter was anxious and quickly assessing where she was, we were told to take our time, could go with her and just settle in and explore at her pace! After a few minutes of upset my daughter quickly found her feet and started enjoying the environment! The place was fantastic, the attention to detail n every section was carefully and intentionally thought out, there was no need to worry about being messy or loud, the kids had all the freedom in the world to explore each station, there was parents interacting and joining in and some just enjoying a coffee! The atmosphere was so relaxed. I had a lovely chat with a lady who worked there and explained we home educated and she didn't pass judgement which normally happens when I mention it. I felt safe and secure and so did our daughter. We had a fab time and stayed the whole hour and a half! We were looking for a fun play environment that my child felt safe in and at her own pace could interact with other children and learn. We stay about 40 min away and I would travel double this for the enjoyment my daughter had and we will now be regulars!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 1 to 10, particularly those with anxiety or sensory sensitivities. Staff take an unhurried approach, giving children time to settle without pressure. Many families travel significant distances to come regularly.

“Huge shout out to Clare for hosting the "best birthday party ever" for my 6 year old daughter last weekend. We had children from 1 to 10 years old attending, and every single one of them loved the Kiltoonies disco party. It was amazing! Clare's energy is unmatched and all of the children loved her! 💫 Highly recommend Kiltoonies, and their party packages to anyone! You wont be disappointed 🫶.”

“Honestly the best place to take my 2 year old granddaughter. She loves it, the variety of play areas sparks her imagination and her wee face lights up when we go. It’s safe and welcoming and Clare is just lovely with everyone! The coffee is lovely too.”
