Really great children’s playground. Had lots of things for my 18 month old to play on. For older children there’s also a small rock climbing wall and huge slide and climbing frame. I felt the park really works well for children upto 10. There’s also a cafe with outdoor seating that looks over the children’s park and has a quick access gate from the seating area in to the smaller children’s area.

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for families with mixed-age children from toddlers to around age 10, who benefit from the distinct equipment zones. The cafe adjacent to the toddler area is a practical feature for parents who want to supervise and have a drink simultaneously. The climbing wall and large slide give older children more challenge.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

💡The cafe has outdoor seating with a gate opening directly to the smaller children's area
Time a visit to coincide with a cricket match on the adjacent green for added entertainment
🎟️Soft rubber flooring throughout makes it safer for toddlers and early walkers
🚗Check current cafe opening times before visiting as this has varied

Nice park and has a cafe. Good kids play area. If you time it right you can watch some cricket on the green next to it.

Great place for the children to play. And for mums and dads to have a tea or coffee. Maybe get a snack.

It's an ok playground. The recent refreshment of the games helped however it could be better as it is the main playground in the village. Really hoping the tennis courts are looked after and that they reopen the coffee shop!
