1 / 3Leith Links Play Park
📍 Leith, Scotland
Free outdoor playground in Leith Links with three distinct age-appropriate zones including a sandpit for younger children. Open grass surroundings with fresh air. Street parking only — no dedicated car park. No on-site toilets.
Our daughter and her friend loved this. There are three areas, for different ages and levels of ability: a small-child area, an older-child area and a rope climbing-frame. Secure and safe enough, too, for our friend to leave her eight-year-old here while she goes to the café, and be completely confident that he'll be safe. Completely recommend.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children across different age groups who want a free outdoor session with space to roam. The three-zone layout means an 8-year-old can play independently on the rope frame as a younger sibling uses the sandpit safely.

“Nice place, clean and newish fir a playpark. Some of the apparatus is a little scary for the parents of younger children. Good space.”

“This is a decent park equipped with playground facilities for children. Very large surroundings with fresh air from all sides. Although some of the grasses need better trimming, the kids are generally happy to play here.”
