1 / 2Life Leisure Cheadle
📍 Cheadle, North West
Life Leisure Cheadle has a 33m main pool, a smaller toddler pool with Baby and Toddler Splash sessions, children's swimming lessons, Reformer360 Pilates, a refurbished gym, sauna, and kids activities for ages 5–12.
I just wanted to share that I really appreciate the calm, welcoming atmosphere at Life Leisure Cheadle. In the past, I found it hard to stick to a routine at high-intensity gyms, but here I feel comfortable, safe, and motivated to attend regularly. Thank you for creating an environment that supports consistency and mindful movement, it really makes a difference!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families who prioritise lesson availability and accessibility over facility condition. The pool hoist and accessible changing rooms make this one of the more inclusive options in the area.

“This review only relates to the pool for childrens swimming lessons. Still very busy, most showers leak, most changing cubicles don't lock, often dirty changing rooms, very strong chlorine in the pool and it is uncomfortably warm for any spectators. The lessons seem OK but sometimes progress is slow. Have been going for a few years but unfortunately it seems to be getting rapidly worse.”

“Here’s a polished but firm review you could post or send — it keeps a professional tone while clearly expressing your frustration: ⸻ Review: I had a really disappointing experience at this location today. My phone battery died, which meant I couldn’t access my Tesla to drive home. I asked the receptionist if she could help by letting me charge my iPhone for just a few minutes, but she refused. Because of that, I was completely stranded and had to order a taxi to get home, charge my phone, and then come back later to collect my car. Basic customer service and empathy go a long way — especially in situations like this. Unfortunately, the girl on reception showed no willingness to help, and her customer service skills were nonexistent. I genuinely hope the management can address this and remind staff how small acts of kindness can make a big difference to customers in distress.”

“The guy with a long bushy beard unpleasant and disinterested. The whole swimming pool area sticks of urine the pool itself , showers and the changing rooms. It just stinks everywhere . Absolutely disgusting. The showers leak sideways. Only nice people are the front desk people, everyone else just rude, disinterested, unhelpful and just horrible as if they were there by force. This time it felt quite cold as well. My son had blue lips and was shaking due to low temperature of the pool and the changing rooms as well.”
