1 / 2Maple Avenue Park
đ Cheadle, North West
Small fenced playground in Cheadle with climbing structures, open grass for football, pram-friendly paths, and a picnic table. Designed with disability access in mind; accessible from Maple Avenue, Oak Avenue, and Cheviot Ave.
Maple Park is a lovely park with access from Maple Avenue, Oak Avenue and Cheviot Ave. There is small playground for children and trees/bushes great for hide and seek. It isn't huge but there's a picnic table and bike/pram friendly paths. It's popular with mostly considerate dog walkers.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and young children who want a safe, fenced play space in a quiet neighbourhood setting. The accessible design and manageable size suit younger or less mobile children particularly well. Active older children may find the space too small for extended visits.

âAn excellent place to enjoy your local park This play area is fenced in and was designed for disabled children and benches for a little rest . Locals made scones sold books . Planted bulbs & lighting . It's a mini haven . Lot off love has gone into the design . TCâ

âFirst time today at this park. Good little quiet park, which is not very big with everything what a kid needs. My daughter managed to make a friend and had a fantastic time. Easy to find if you don't drive by using a public transport. I will be back again.â

âThis is a cracking little local park with a lovely playground for young children and lots of space for running around. The park is much frequented by dogs and their owners but the latter are scrupulously correct in dealing with their pets' excitement and excrement and it remains a very useful local amenity of a simple nature.â
