Immersive projection venue near Kings Cross presenting large-format shows including Prehistoric Planet dinosaurs, David Bowie, and Wallace & Gromit experiences. Family tickets available with full pram access and parking nearby.
Excellent experience and something really special and unique. Dinosaur show was very memorable, informative and exciting. Staff greeted us and were very helpful Unisex (cubicles), clean toilets and bar/ice-cream. Has a nice little shop for either show running, could do with some more adult dinosaur t-shirts and merchandise, it was quite child orientated. The programne would have been a nice souvenir but is a bit expensive for what it is, so gave it a miss.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 4 and up who respond well to large-format visual spectacle. The Prehistoric Planet show delivers genuinely memorable moments for dinosaur-obsessed children. Choose tiered rear seating for the clearest view.

βThis is a really amazing experience (albeit very expensive for what it is) however the experience was somewhat ruined by children running around and shouting throughout it. We went to the Tom Hanks show and some children were allowed to just run around the room throughout the show. It wasnβt until about 30 minutes into it that a member of staff came and told them to sit down, although they then continued to run and shout after this and the families did not seem to care. It is very hard to get immersed in an experience like this when children are running around and shouting. Either there needs to be a talk before the show starts setting expectations that you stay quiet and sat down or there needs to be separate adult only shows. The experience was still enjoyable and the show is incredible, however it was very hard to feel fully immersed into it.β

βWe really enjoyed the dinosaur show. While my daughter is 4, and enjoyed chasing the dinosaurs along the walls, or when the floor tuned to lava!Thereβs plenty of information/commentary to keep older kids or adults interested. There queue to get in and out did seem to bottleneck in the gift shop which isnt ideal. Excellent location for St Pancras though.β

βThis venue is situated in a quiet/fashionable area near Kingscross , reclaimed from a coal yard , combining boutique shops and restaurants with old brick buildings . The upper floor is a small bar area with stairs , because of the time constraints , we all have to stand around , which caused confusion for guests , as there was no space for a queue . Once we are led down some steps you come to a gift shop , and saught of queue up there , all a bit unorganized . The facility itself is a single box shaped room with wall to wall screens , and floor projections. The aim is to immerse the guest in the scale of the images . There is padded bench seating on the floor , and similar tiered seating near the back wall . They run multiple different shows through out the day , like a cinema. I went to see the prehistoric planet show , based on the Apple tv series of the same name . Basically you are watching a documentary on a big screen, with images changing from full surround , large panels , and multiple small panels . The extra content was the most effective , as it showed the dinosaurs to true scale , as they moved around the walls (I would have liked to see more of this ) . It was an okay and pricey experience , I feel these types of shows are still quite new and have not fine tuned there presentation yet .β

Overview
Lightroom projects content across floor-to-ceiling surfaces in a converted Kings Cross coal yard space. The Prehistoric Planet show uses BBC natural history footage at a scale that makes the dinosaurs physically overwhelming β reviewers describe a 4-year-old chasing dinosaurs along the walls as the floor turned to lava. Tiered seating at the rear gives guaranteed sightlines. A bar and ice cream counter serve during shows. The gift shop adjoins the exit.
