Great day out with the muniflex lot! Wonderful fund raiser! Good complex The swimming pool and changing rooms i cannot comment as we did not see But the toilets were clean and tidy Staff were wonderful The 5g astro pitch has too much black rubber added bit hard on the shins!! All in all lovely day out
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want recreational lane swimming in well-maintained facilities with free parking — a rare combination. The 50m pool is a genuine draw for stronger swimmers.

“I am deeply disappointed with my recent experience. The level of professionalism and common sense exhibited by the staff was severely lacking. It seemed as though they were simply following instructions from a piece of paper rather than applying logic or genuine customer service. I was asked to provide my bank statement to verify my eligibility for a discount membership that I had already paid for and was expecting to receive. Despite presenting both digital and written proof of my membership confirmation, I was told I could not access the discount. To add insult to injury, I was accused of dishonesty, which I found both unfair and unprofessional. Furthermore, as a former member, my details are already stored within their system, making the process straightforward. However, it felt like speaking to someone who was disengaged or not genuinely invested in assisting, almost as if they were working against the interests of the community, rather than supporting it. This experience has left me utterly disappointed, especially considering that this facility—an essential community resource—is meant to serve the people. It is disheartening to see how poor management, lack of customer care, and a disregard for the community have turned what should be a positive space into a frustrating ordeal. Our council facilities, including gyms, pools, libraries, and parks, are meant to be for the benefit of all citizens, funded by the community's contributions. It is disheartening to witness how mismanagement and a lack of dedication threaten to undermine these public assets, turning them into disorganized and unwelcoming environments. I hope this feedback encourages a review of their policies and staff training to better serve the community they are supposed to support.”
