My daughter had been asking to ride for a while, booked the 30 min lesson followed by an hour trek to see how she liked it. My daughter was nervous at first but the staff were fantastic and made us both feel at ease instantly. Within 15 mins my daughter was controlling her horse round the paddock on her own, with an unbelievably big smile. Absolute brilliant experience and would highly recommend. We will definitely be going back.

âWe booked this last minute whilst up in the area at a lodge. As we are beginners we both did the 30 minute hack. From arrival to finish, we were treated perfectly. Sasha took the reins of our horses and off we went. We had a couple of trots on the journey too which was fun, the scenery is lovely. Everything was explained clearly to us so no need to worry about never having done this before. Thank you all.â

âI would highly recommend Matchmoor for horse riding lessons and stable management. The staff, Sue and Eliza are so friendly, welcoming, patient and extremely knowledgeable. It is a very relaxed atmosphere and the horses are beautifully looked after and relaxed. It's a peaceful place, full of positivity and beautiful views. Would highly recommend for beginners and for more experienced riders alike.â

âHad a lovely 2 hour hack out with this riding stables today. I rode Bracken who was a lovely mare, responsive and forwards going, Jamie who took us out was lovely. Most of the time you get taken out on hacks the person leading doesn't chat much so it was nice speaking to her. We had some lovely canters and the scenery was brill. Will definitely return!â
