Fantastic charity led place for the kids. They do sen days which are quieter sessions (speak to the staff for the selective times and days) and are fantastic with the kids. They provide the kids with a small meal after those sessions. The main sessions are just as good but can be busy. Good old fashioned play like they did before 1989; climb jump and swing. They've a sandpit, music, sensory play, wooden swinging frames. It's very much recommended. Its free to get in, but do rely on donations. There is a qr code to enable you to donate. You can buy a drink whilst there also. My kids have spent days just having fun there. It's always on our 'to go to' lists.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families who want staffed, imaginative outdoor play rather than unsupervised equipment. SEN families gain the most from the dedicated quieter morning sessions, which are smaller and more structured than the main sessions.

β€œThe Meridian Adventure Playground is an incredible place for children to immerse these in imaginative play, meet and socialise with other children, and have as much fun as possible without being limited in what they can and can't do. The staff are incredible! They are friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and they always encourage the children to try new things, create things, and have a go at everything. The Meridian Adventure Playground also offers respite for parents who need some space, and can take their children to the playground to spend hours having fun and enjoying time outside. If you have children, I do recommend coming here - it's absolutely incredible!”
