I spend a lot of time at this fab play cafe, and now I’m back at work, I live for their weekend pop-ups! Where do I start? The selection of toys and the fact they rotate them is unique to this cafe. There’s always something new for my babe to explore so he never gets bored. A nice touch is when Kerry (the owner) asks what your little one likes and then next time you come has it set up. In the case of my son, dinosaurs, always! The piadinas are delish but I’m even more excited for their new winter toastie menu. Happy hour, for mums who have had one of those weeks and need a drink (not that you need an excuse), the selection is brilliant. My fav is the locally founded Pretty Decent Beer. Basically, if you haven’t been, you’re missing out! My son and I love it, and my husband does too!

🏆 Family Action Verdict

Best for parents with babies and toddlers who want quality coffee alongside genuine child engagement. Kerry sets up activities to match what your child loves — tell her on arrival. The no-time-limit policy and rotating toy selection make it a reliable weekly destination for under-5s who need novelty to stay engaged.

My friend and I and our little ones went to this brilliant play cafe today!! It was really good! Most places I have been have the cafe and play section separate but this was Free movement across the whole space! With lots of activities! We felt super relaxed and at ease to know the kids could do as they pleased. Also delicious food for adults and little ones!!! Lovely crowd too. The owner Kerry was so nice and accommodating! She’s doing an ace job! Highly recommend!!!

As a local family, Pintsize Playhouse is our go to when we need to entertain our toddler. Kerry the owner is so thoughtful in how she lays out the space with different activities to keep our daughter entertained each time. The toddler tapas (for kids) and great cocktail selection (for us parents) combined with the friendly environment provide the perfect space to spend a really enjoyable few hours. The weekend pop ups are definitely a highlight!

We had a wonderful morning at the Pint-Sized Playhouse! The owner is super welcoming and warm, you can tell she is passionate about children and does her job with great dedication. Coffee was delicious, I had to take 2 😆 and my 11mo loved the kids’ tapas tray, which we had the chance to customize for his taste. Food also looked delicious! The space is cozy, clean and for £5 entry there is no time limit on your stay.

Overview

Pint-Sized Playhouse runs themed stations — art materials, story zones, small world setups, music areas, and a baby soft-play corner — that rotate regularly so children encounter something new each visit. The cafe pours Perky Blenders specialty coffee and artisan teas, and the toddler tapas trays can be customised for fussy eaters. Free movement across the whole space means children are never corralled away from parents.
