When I was a kid, all we had to play with was some sticks, some cans, a piece of string and our own imagination, these days, kids have everything imaginable, and that includes the opportunity to role play. At Pippatopia, if you can see it....you can be it..... then enter and be immersed in the magical world of make believe. Situated on an unassuming corner of Fenton Street, Smethwick, Pippatopia is a brilliant custom in door play area for children up to the age of 7, and is designed to spark creativity, and unleash the boundless imagination that small children possess. Explore the magical play spaces of the Wendy House with lounge and fully fitted kitchen, the Emergency Services combining Fire Station, with tools, helmets and uniforms, Police Station, Doctor's and Dentist all with safe childproof instruments and work wear to dress up in. Butlers the Builders, where you can build a wall or turn a cement mixer, serve at the tills in the fully stocked Supermarket complete with integral Cafe. Style hair in the Hair Salon, treat poor animals in the Vets. Visit the Post Office, and deliver the post, the list goes on and on. Situated at the entrance is a superb real Cafe, where the children along with Mom and Dad, or Nan and Grandad can get a variety of hot and cold drinks, snacks, and classic breakfast edables. The Cafe and play spaces are fully accessible, with a lift and accessable toilet. Full changing facilities with supplies are situated in Male / Female toilets, and the family room. It is advisable to book your 90 minute time slot online due to demand, or just phone about availability. This was my first visit to this place, the warm friendly and welcoming atmosphere combined with the fun of watching and role playing with my grandchildren was an absolute joy. Just to mention, there is a free car park, also on street parking and a Council run car park less than one minute walk away. In this age of technology it's wonderful to see children using their imagination, and this fabulous place gives them the perfect environment to do just that. Imagination is a Superpower.

The level of detail across each themed area rewards exploration, and the 90-minute format is well-paced for young children. The cafe is a genuine draw for parents — quality food and drinks make the session comfortable for adults too.

“I recently visited for the miss Rachel event with my 3 nephews and they absolutely loved it! The play spaces allow the kids minds to run wild with their imagination and to sing and dance with miss rachel was a joy for the boys. I visited with my sister and we both had a fancy hot chocolate was absolutely delish and the presentation was so picture worthy . The staff was an absolute delight , smiling upon entering very polite and made the experience 10x more enjoyable. The owner was also very polite and was a joy to hear about the journey and growth of Pippatopia, absolutely wonderful buisness. Will deffo visit again :)”

“Absolutely love Pippatopia! My nephews have the best time ever and always ask to go back the moment we leave. The role-play areas are so well thought out, clean, and engaging, and it’s such a lovely space for kids to explore and use their imagination. The staff are also friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better and the cafe drinks and sweet treats are 10/10. It’ll definitely be my go-to place to take my nephews as there’s plenty of space, but it’s still easy to keep an eye on them and know exactly where they are! Would highly recommend to anyone with little ones🫶🏽”

“First time going today and wow! One of the best play areas I’ve been to in a while, and I go to a lot since I’m a childminder. Children loved every minute of it. Space is well thought out and there are lots of details and tiny little touches that make the experience wonderful ✨ I feel like this is the kind of place you go to several times, yet never experience it the same. Cafe was full of yummy options, but didn’t try any of it on this occasion, so cannot comment on taste 🤍”
