1 / 2Playland Fun Park
π Stourport-on-Severn, West Midlands
Family-run park alongside Stourport-on-Severn's riverside meadows with token-operated rides, a playground, paddling pool, and open fields for ball games. Rides cost one to two tokens each.
Great for kids, loads of parking. Park and open playing fields right next to it. Rides and Β£1 & Β£2 and operate using tokens purchased from machines. Cafe on site. Toilets in car park. All well maintained. Spent 2 hours here after camping, kids loved it. Oldest child was 8yrs down to youngest 4yrs. Right next to river and town centre. Would go again.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 4β9 who want a mix of rides and open-air play. The token system means budgeting upfront pays off β a small allocation disappears fast. Weekday mornings offer the most relaxed visit; weekend afternoons get crowded. The venue shows its age in places and kids consistently enjoy themselves.

βGreat day out, Β£1 a token, some rides one token each, some two. My 9year old grandson could have his younger brother on the back for a ride, which he loved. Food and ice cream also available and a great playground and paddling pool in the park.β

βI was unfortunately a bit disappointed from our visit. The place is showing itβs age now & could do with some modernisation. We went on a weekend and it wasnβt too busy earlier on in the day. By the time we left in the early afternoon it was very busy so Iβd recommend getting there in the morning. The rides are basic. Mostly 2-3 tokens each (14 tokens for Β£10). This quickly adds up to mean youβre spending a fair bit overall. The big slide and the rings in the water were the kids favourite. The bouncy castle was inflated and closed. Not enough staff apparently (though there were 3 standing by the slide ride!). The amusement arcade was completely full of the 2p machines. Not exactly a wide range for kids! Maybe Iβd give it another chance in the summer when the splash pad is open. But wouldnβt return in a hurry.β

βThis is an interesting place... not much was open as I guess it was a weekday. There was only one guy manning everything including the food albeit he did a good job. There was no food available on the day due to the one guy, but looks like they have a decent menu. We had some ice cream and snacks but had brought our own bits anyway. The rides are a little bit shabby but the kids seemed to enjoy them. The rides are between 1-2 tokens at a Β£1 each. It was a nice day out but maybe better during the holiday..β
