📍 London, Greater London
Indoor role-play centre for children aged 0 to 7 featuring miniature community spaces including a supermarket, cafe, medical centre, construction site, and vets. Sessions require advance booking. Birthday parties and group bookings available.
Clean and ideal spot for 3yr olds. My toddler had a great time here with some of his friends. We booked the first slot (9.30am) on a Fri morn, and were able to park the car on the street with a purchased permit from the staff.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for toddlers and children under 4 who engage strongly with pretend-play scenarios. Reviews split clearly by age: the youngest children are absorbed by the concept regardless of upkeep. Families with children aged 4 and above will notice gaps in stock, props without batteries, and inconsistent reset between sessions.

“My children enjoyed their session at Role2play however toys were not reset at the start of the session. We arrived 5 mins early and waited till our allotted time to enter expecting the area to be tidied but it was just a bit of a free for all. The kids loved it but there was no food in the supermarket, we had to go find it (in the fire engine), there was no horse in the stable to play with (that had been ridden into the main cafe area and was near the front door), the dressing up clothes were in a trail across the floor etc etc, there was only one baby in the nursery which 3 kids were already fighting over, everywhere they wanted to play was very empty and uninviting and it was a wild goose chase to go and find and retrieve the things needed to play. I’d expect this at the end of a play session but not at the start. We reset things as we went along but at no point did any staff member enter the play space.”

“Went despite lots of poor reviews on here. The toys were set out nicely and there was a fair range to choose from. Where it falls down for me is the cleaning and care any business needs, especially one with children using. The toilet should have a toilet roll holder to prevent the loo roll falling on the floor - unhygienic to use. The fact there’s still Covid 19 posters up and numerous flyers on a noticeboard for events that finished months ago is quite telling. The high chairs had not yet been used that day but were filthy. The toilet walls were in need of a good paint yet there was still masking tape round the fire alarm from the last time it was painted. The toilet also needs a bin with a lid; the current one is broken. The staff - if they weren’t spending time with their boyfriends or eating all the produce in the cafe - should do some of these tasks.”
