1 / 3Bisterne Avenue Park Play Area
📍 London, Greater London
Compact free playground with pirate ship, zip line, and forest nature trail. Entrance is up the hill from where GPS directs — look for the uphill path. One large round swing on site.
Our toddler loved it here - nice small but perfectly formed playground with pirate ship and zip line. Also a small nature trail that was great for a quick adventure and exploration around some greenery. The time we visited it was busy, which was understandable being on a Sunday, and had great fun friendly vibes :)
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and children under 7 who enjoy pirate-themed play and short nature walks. The compact size suits parents who prefer an enclosed, manageable space. Families whose children prioritise swings will find the single round swing insufficient — it's not the main draw here.

“Good playground with a nice mini nature trail up the hill at the back. Could do with more swings though – there's only one of those big round ones – as that's the main thing our toddler wants from a playground!”

“Lovely park, and lots of fun for kids. Not really sure why there are three levels of pullup bars but the tallest ones aren't big enough for an adult, otherwise would have given it 5 stars!!”
