1 / 2Senneleys Park
đ Birmingham, West Midlands
Expansive free park in Birmingham with multiple playgrounds, a BMX track, skate park, outdoor gym, and a shallow brook for children to splash in. Wide open areas suit ball games, cycling, and dog walking.
Hidden gem? Due to b'ham council keeping the woodgate carpark permanently locked, this is not as busy a park as it should be and as such is one of the best ball throw/dog running parks in the area. Lots of wide open, flat, area's, BMX track, skate park, outdoor gym, 2 slightly tired sets of play equipment and free parking on the Bartley Green side of the park.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for active families who want open space, a BMX track, and water play in one free visit. The varied terrain â grassland, woodland, brook, and formal play areas â keeps children across a wide age range engaged. Daytime visits are reliably enjoyable; the park's character shifts in the evenings.

âBrilliant park, that is massive. Woodlands, open grassland, children's playground and football pitches make up part of this beautiful area.â

âWe ran into some park rangers on our visit, who were very friendly. The park area was very clean and well kept, the Brook is open and shallow for children to play in, which is a nice bonus on a hot dayâ

Overview
Senneleys Park offers multiple playgrounds, a BMX track, skate park, outdoor gym, and broad open grassland across a large green space. A shallow brook runs through the park and is popular for paddling on warm days. The Bartley Green side entrance gives access to free parking when the main Woodgate car park is locked by the council. Wooded and open sections make the park varied for walking.
