1 / 3Tenpin Blackburn
π Blackburn, North West
Ten-pin bowling with arcade games, billiards tables, and an on-site cafe. Weekday visits consistently deliver better service and a more relaxed experience for families with children.
I didn't want to give 5 stars, but I am forced to do so because there's no higher option. It is a very awesome place, brilliant staff, especial mention to staff Anna, as she was really helpful and served with a big smile on her face, and was absolutely amazing person, one of the finest examples of customer service. I would definitely recommend visiting this place
π Family Action Verdict
Families with school-age children get the most out of a weekday or Friday daytime visit when lanes are quieter and staff can focus on each group. Weekend evenings skew older and louder, making them less suited to young children. Book online to secure a lane and factor in extra time if ordering food during busy periods.

βIt is a lovely place to visit, and the staff, Ibrahim, were very kind and welcoming. It was quite busy, but we still had a great time.β

βAn alright place for a bit of fun when its not packed. The arcades are gimmicky, most being just physical versions of apps from the store. The billiards / snooker / pool tables are definately dated with the cues being worn, and some of the tables get the white ball constantly stuck when its potted in. The bowing area is alright, comes out to Β£10.45 per person for one game. The fans don't work and the flaps for the bowling balls often get the bowling ball stuck until the next one arrives. The staff is helpful and nice, no complains there.β

βAwful at the weekend, good during the week. Attended on a Saturday night and it was mayhem. We booked a deal with food pre-ordered. We didnβt receive any food. We had to ask after we had finished both games and they had no idea. They then said itβll be out in 10 mins. It wasnβt. We went back to reception who said theyβd put the ticket through now. We had been there over an hour and finished our bowling by this point. We had ordered drink via the app and hadnβt got them. We were ushered off our lane and told to βhang aroundβ waiting for food. Ridiculous. We booked another game whilst we waited. Moved to a different lane. The young people on the lane next to us were so drunk that they were falling over, spent more time on the floor, they launched themselves down the aisle, they were vaping whilst playing. We had a toddler with us. I spoke to the staff who did absolutely nothing. We had visited the day before, Friday during the day, it was a stark difference. It was quiet and we got our food as planned. The weekend experience has put us off from ever coming again.β
