Park massive and plenty to see, have benches popped around the park. They have small farm at park as well. Downside no facilities to have coffee/ wash hands. For a park this side and an attraction for families. You would think they would have toilets 🚻. Easy to get to, parking available. Ideal for afternoon out.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children under 8 who respond well to animals, open space, and nature walks. The farm area is the standout draw for young children. Bring a packed lunch as there are no refreshments on site. Those after structured play equipment will find the park light on that front β€” the main appeal is open space and animals.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Pack food and water β€” no cafe on site
⏰Hand sanitiser is useful after the farm area
🎟️Free parking is available at the park entrance
πŸš—The riverside and woodland paths are pushchair-accessible on the main routes

β€œThis park is home ground for me and well visited. Its clean at all times. Its big, friendly and absolutely part of my survival in Glasgow. Its home to a few foxes. It has an animal farm for the kids (I'm still one) and it has one of the most beautiful buildings on the property. My pictures will prove it.”
