1 / 2VRXtra Kingston
π Kingston upon Thames, Greater London
Dedicated VR gaming centre in Kingston upon Thames with 80+ experiences, 14 VR escape rooms, free-roam zombie and cooking games, and Smash Point paintball-style sessions. Ages 7+.
Solid new place. Headsets and hand controllers get sanitised every session. Fairly wide variety of games. Youβve got escape rooms that can be single or multiplayer. βI expect you to dieβ is a spy themed single player that I think most would enjoy although the telekinesis controls can take a little time to get comfortable with. Loads of shooters. I think Arizona Sunshine is a decent one with an ok variety for weapons and progression in difficulty. Although, you need to be used to a bit of teleporting in the movement controls. A fair number of rhythm games are there too. I think itβs quite necessary to be someone that is familiar with games and using controllers. Has the hand eye coordination to move the sticks and press buttons together. Iβve visited three times and it can be really busy on weekends so book ahead. The photo is from a Monday afternoon so it can get busy anytime. You can even come with your dog if your dog is the sort to chill out while you play.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 7+ who are comfortable with controllers and basic hand-eye coordination β the technology lands hardest with children who already enjoy gaming. Staff are exceptionally patient with first-timers and the variety of formats means groups can split across different experiences.

βWhat an amazing experience. Firstly the game play is mind blowing. Second time going. Played games first time and did an escape room this time. Both experiences were unbelievable. The reality side really does put you in the game. Definitely something you can enjoy on your own or in a group. Second the staff. Again amazing!! Very friendly and want nothing more than for you to have the best experience. If there's any issues or anything you don't understand, they are there to help. The vr itself is is out of this world. But with the staff being so friendly and helpful. It makes the over all experience amazing. Look forward to returning and bringing ppl so they too can enjoy the experience. 10 out of 10 to the games, the staff and the owner.β

βGreat venue for my daughterβs 10th birthday. The staff showed the kids what to do quickly and efficiently so they could get on and enjoy playing! Everyone seemed to have a fantastic time playing Smash-point. Feedback from the birthday girl- the VR was really great but only disappointment was the staff didnβt ask whose birthday it was to acknowledge that alittle bit.β
