Willows Activity Farm was great fun for all 3 of our children. All in all, we absolutely loved this family day out. All the staff were really good, good wash good and well priced. 10/10 There are numerous outside & inside activities included within the entry price. Inside activities include an indoor soft play with a dedicated toddler area and large slides for the older children. Food and drink are available from the soft play. The farm barn area includes, sheep, horses, pony and you can pet some of the smaller animals such as Guinea pigs. Indoor show times are displayed by the entrance and online. We didn't watch the show but it sounded good. Indoor ice skating was a hit with the children along with the ride on trucks and trackers. Here is a list of some of the outside activities included included, Multiple outdoor play areas for all ages Bouncy castle (weather dependent) Trampolines Tracker rides Pony/horse fairground ride 2 additional fairground rides Splash play - this was closed due to being out of season but in warmer weather this will be a great hit with the kids The gold rush was also closed but this also looks really good. There are a number of food and drink places outside that are open during the summer season. Marshmallow toasting is also available at an extra charge. Inside there are 2 main areas to get food. This is reasonably priced for the size of portions (Β£7 for large chips and chicken gujans) Coffee was nice and again reasonably priced. There are several benches outside that have shade/sun protection. Also, there are several outside hand-wash stations which were very handy.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with children aged 2–9 who are Peter Rabbit fans or enjoy farm animals combined with structured play. The staff quality is a genuine differentiator β€” multiple reviewers return specifically because of named team members. Plan for a full day and expect to return; a single visit rarely covers all areas.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Plan for a full day β€” the majority of visitors cannot cover all areas in one visit
⏰Bring packed food if budget is a consideration β€” on-site dining is premium priced
🎟️Character meet-and-greets with Peter, Benjamin, and Lily Rabbit run on a schedule β€” check the day's timetable on arrival
πŸš—The farm is fully operational in wet weather with indoor soft play and farm barn as covered alternatives

β€œJust want to shout out to the amazing members of staff that stand out to Wren and me as members who were visiting twice a week before he started school and so now we can only attend once every other weekend. Stand out team members for us are Sam on the livestock team she is so friendly and lovely, always chatting to Wren and I and very helpful too. Samantha in the soft play, loves the kids and is amazing at ensuring their safety but also being fun about it. Wren loves Samantha. Molly and Charlotte are also amazing, Wren loves Molly and always screams out her name when he sees her, we also loved being asked to be part of the social media content for the potato shindig last autumn. Thank you willows. One negative I would say, there is no discount for members in food and beverage and we use the facilities regular. The drink loyalty is not that great. We should at least have 10% off food and drinks. Please introduce this. We spend a lot of time here and money not just on our membership. All in all- all the staff are super friendly and caring and we love the new updates and changes made to the farm. It’s made a huge difference.”

β€œWe had such a lovely day at Willows Activity Farm. The kids absolutely loved it β€” from feeding the animals to bouncing on the giant pillows and running around the Peter Rabbit play areas. There’s just so much for them to do, both indoors and outdoors, that we ended up staying most of the day without even realizing how fast it went by. Everything felt clean, safe, and well-kept, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was fine (a bit pricey, as expected at these places), but it didn’t really matter because the kids were having the best time. It’s clear that the place was designed with families in mind β€” it’s easy to get around with a stroller, there are plenty of toilets and shaded spots, and you never feel rushed. Perfect for young kids who love to explore and play. We’ll definitely be coming back β€” it’s one of those rare spots where the whole family leaves happy and tired in the best way.”

β€œAbsolutely brilliant Peter rabbit themed farm. Came here for my son's birthday and stayed locally to visit the farm on two days. My son is a massive peter rabbit fan. He loved the meet and greets with Peter, Benjamin and Lily rabbit. The shows were really entertaining for the kids. Charlotte hosting the Peter rabbit shows was very cheerful and jolly. Staff around the farm were very chatty and friendly. Overall had a warm feeling to the farm and so much to do at the farm. It took us 2 days to see and do everything at the farm.”
