1 / 2Belmont Farm
đ London, Greater London
Working farm set in a secluded valley with hands-on feeding of sheep, horses, and llamas. Indoor soft play suits ages 6 months to 10 years. On-site cafe and free parking on site.
Great place to take toddlers. Really well organised and super helpful staff. The soft play area fun for kiddies followed by the farm animals which you can get really up close to and feed inside and outside. There is a decent cafe, private party area and plenty of place to sit if you are not so inclined to get involved. Dogs not allowed in play or animal area but can stay in cafe or outside which is fine. Also lovely rural setting.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and children under 10 who want genuine hands-on animal contact rather than a walk-past zoo experience. The ability to buy feed and get close to animals is the real draw. Complete soft play first as required by the venue.

âI had seen some recent damning scores but earlier scores were good. I decided to give it a go to take our 2year old grandchild. We had a great time - the highlight being able to buy feed and give to the animals. The cafe food was tasty and the animals all looked well cared for.â

âPerfect for children interested in seeing farm animals. Children can touch and feed Sheep, horses, Lamas. There is a small cafe for pizza and sandwich, coffee, ice creams etc. It is a peaceful place and you can feel you are in countryside once inside the farm premises.â

âI had a mixed experience visiting the farm over the weekend. The reception check-in was very transactional, not a particularly welcoming experience. Also, a heads-up for future visitors: if you want to do the soft play area, they tell you that you must do it before the farm visit. This isn't communicated beforehand and rushed us quite a bit as we had to hurry out to the animals. The food cafe was truly awful. It was expensive, inedible, and the service was poor. The staff seemed visibly tired and made multiple mistakes. For example, when another customer's order was corrected, the cheese wasn't even melted! It's clear there are no standards for product quality here. We ordered a disgusting sausage roll and a cheese toastie that looked like it had almost no filling. It's a real shame about the food, as the restaurant area is actually lovely and quite nice, especially the bar areas at the back. The farm is great and you can interact with the animals, but there is minimal staff and not a lot of guidance or interaction with them. Customer service engagement needs to be improved here.â
