Winterland Bluewater
đ Greenhithe, Greater London
Seasonal outdoor fairground at Bluewater Shopping Centre with traditional rides, games, Dutch pancakes, churros, candy floss, and hot drinks. Token system for rides. Advance booking required for entry.
Just come home from winterland at Bluewater with my 3 grandchildren. We had a fantastic time. Lots of rides for the little ones. Cheap entry although the food was pricey but you expect to pay more at these types of attractions and we are already planning on going again next year if it is on.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 2â8 who enjoy traditional fairground rides and are happy to set a firm budget for tokens and food before arriving. Evening visits are recommended for the full atmosphere. The entry fee is low, so the spend happens on rides and food â knowing this in advance makes the day more enjoyable.

âBeautiful place , took loads of amazing pictures and the rides were cool . We had to purchase the tokens used to access the rides , it was not crowded and the kids had funâ

âThis was an enjoyable day out. The ÂŖ3 per person entry fee is reasonable, especially when compared to similar attractions in central London. It is easy to spend a significant amount of money as most rides require 4-5 tokens per person, and tokens must be purchased separately. This can quickly accumulate for larger families. Ride durations are quite generous. I would personally advise against the ball pit due to its dampness and apparent lack of cleanliness. The evening lighting significantly enhances the overall experience. Food prices are high, so I recommend setting and adhering to a budget to avoid exceeding ÂŖ50 quickly.â

âÂŖ3 each to get in and then ÂŖ5 per go on most rides is too much. Hook a duck etc also ÂŖ5 a go. A family of four sinks ÂŖ32 after one ride and 5 minutes inside. A single crepe with only sugar for ÂŖ7. Hot chocolate ÂŖ7. Nothing is free once inside except some scratched up figurines your kids can put their face through for a photo. Lights on the rides look pretty at night.â
