“I have lessons and go out on hacks at this stables and can't rate this highly enough. As a mature lady coming back to riding, the lessons are friendly and well-structured to all abilities. The ponies are superbly looked after and well-schooled as well as being full of character. I've often watched the instructors work with all ages (including young children) and they are excellent at adapting the lessons to each group. The lessons are also incredible fun and never fail to make me smile.”

“Unfortunately, this riding school doesn’t seem worthwhile for learning to ride. Even with previous hack experience, I was given no independent control of the horse off the reins, not even briefly to practice basic steering. The horse was on short reins and simply followed the instructor, so the session felt like being led around rather than a proper lesson. It felt more like a guided introduction than real riding, which doesn’t allow you to build confidence or get a sense of controlling the horse. The staff were friendly, but that’s not enough to justify the investment or feel excited about progression”
