1 / 2Alexandra Recreation Ground Childrens Play Area
π London, Greater London
Free neighbourhood playground with swings and age-appropriate equipment for children up to 7, set on wood chip surfaces within a larger recreation ground. Open areas for football, cricket, and kite flying adjoin the play area.
Great park with a good range of equipment, especially for those with toddlers and siblings of different ages. Free street parking on quiet streets. Wood chipped floor which is comfortable under foot, environmentally friendly and means there is rarely mud.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers and children up to 7 years. Wood chip surfaces stay dry and clean without the mud common to grass-based playgrounds. Free street parking and open recreation space make it a practical choice for a spontaneous outing. Families with older children past 7 will find the equipment range sparse.

βThis park is good for playing and for walking dogs but there are not as many ducks as in the other park down the road with the big pond. There are swings here though.β
