We had the most heartwarming and memorable experience at the stables, and I can’t thank the team enough for making it so special for all the children involved. With a group of around 50 kids, including SEND children, the level of care, organisation, and attention to detail was simply outstanding. Every activity was thoughtfully planned — from the riding sessions to grooming and stable work — and each child had the opportunity to engage, learn, and truly enjoy the magic of being around horses. The horses themselves were incredibly well-behaved, gentle, and calm — it was beautiful to watch how naturally they responded to the children, making even the most nervous little ones feel at ease. The joy and confidence on the kids’ faces was priceless. A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who gave their time, energy, and warmth so generously. Your kindness and friendliness, especially towards the SEND children, did not go unnoticed and meant so much to all of us. The way you created a welcoming, inclusive, and joyful environment was truly inspiring. This was more than just a riding session — it was a meaningful experience filled with learning, laughter, and connection. We left with so many happy memories, and we’re already looking forward to returning. Highly, highly recommend this beautiful place to any family looking for something truly special.

“A unforgettable horse riding experience! The staff, Tash and Charlotte and the lady who helped us groom the horses) were super friendly and very professional! The whole experience from start to finish was surreal! The horses are gorgeous and the surroundings are peaceful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique adventure. Thank you also for squeezing us in last minute! We cannot wait to start private lessons here! A truly magical way to connect with nature and animals. x”

“Im a beginner who joined back in June and could not be happier with my decision. The owners and the trainers are so incredibly supportive and are amazing teachers. Coming from a non horsey background they have made me feel so so welcome and I am always so excited to go to my lessons and cannot wait to see my development! Special shoutout to my trainers Natasha and Ruby! Would highly recommend Barnfields to anyone looking to start their equestrian journey/lifestyle!”

“We had a fantastic session for our home education classes! Ruby was friendly, patient and engaging while she explained horse behaviour, tacking and grooming to our KS2 students. We felt well looked after by her and Charlotte. Barnfields as whole has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Our experience was a really positive one so we’d recommend going here for educational visits as well as for lessons.”
