1 / 2Beckenham Place Park East Side Playground
π Bromley, Greater London
Modern playground set in natural landscaping near the Old Bromley Road entrance of Beckenham Place Park. Strong equipment for toddlers and older children, river paddling access, and a cafe development underway. Free entry.
Love our new playground. Loads for different aged children including my 2yo. Even has access to the river for a paddle. The whole development of the BPP east side is really exciting and I hope people start to drift over to this side of the park. It'll be even better when the new cafΓ© gets going.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with toddlers under three or children over five β the equipment sweet spot skips the 3-5 age range. River access makes it a strong wet-weather backup if children are appropriately dressed. Bring sun protection as natural shade inside the playground itself is sparse. Combine with the BMX track or nature trails for a longer outing.

βBeautiful play area nestled in the park. Lots of natural landscaping with flowers and grasses. The play equipment is good for under 3βs and older kids, but not so good for 3-5s. Itβs definitely lacking in shade in the playground itself. Could do with a little cafe or drinks stand.β
