1 / 2Blackberry Farm Park
π Lewes, Greater London
Family-run farm park near Lewes with farm animal walks, pony rides for ages 2+, jumping pillows, slides, indoor and outdoor play areas, crazy golf, tractor rides, and birthday party cabins. Open year-round.
Our first visit to Blackberry Farm, was quickly followed up with a second trip there a week later! As well as the farm animals to see, the outdoor play was great. Jumping pillow, swing seats, slides, climbing areas... My almost 5 year olds favourite parts were the pedal tractors, the tractor trailer ride and rising a horse! The horse riding costs a little extra, but he had 2 goes around the arena area with a very kind and friendly member of staff leading the horse. There are plenty of hand washing stations, toilets and a cafe woth small shop area. We went on a snowy day in January and were there for 5 hours, leaving as we wanted to get home before the roads got icy. We would have stayed longer. On the second visit my husband and little boy went on the barrel bug ride. This was a bit too bumpy for them. A great trip out, I'm sure we'll be back!
π Family Action Verdict
Families with children aged 2β10 who want a genuine farm-and-play combination will find a full day here without running out of things to do. The split between animal encounters and active play means different temperaments are all catered for. Budget separately for pony rides, animal feed tokens, and crazy golf beyond the entry cost.

βGreat little find for a day out, took my 9 yr old granddaughter and we had a great time. You pay extra for animal feed, 2 types, pony ride and the crazy golf, which we did and I think there were a couple of other bits too but can't honestly remember. Animal section is good, tractor ride reasonably short but ok, bug ride for the kids is 2 laps but they seemed to enjoy but I think the real highlight is the children's play area. For starters its big and has a number of different areas all adjoining but providing different sorts of play. All in all if you've got active under 10's, go, you'll wear them out and have a chilled evening as a result! ππ€£β

βI took my nephews here (6 and 9) and they both had a really good time. We came on a very cold day and it was super empty which was even better as they had pretty much the whole play areas to themselves! Thereβs lots to do in the outside play area (obstacle course, mini pedal go karts, climbing areas, trampolines, zip wire, jumping pillow, and ball games) and they were entertained for ages in the indoor play area too. The ticket prices are reasonable.β

βExcellent farm experience for the whole family. Lots of farm animals to see, feed and stroke. Tractor ride and big play area (indoor and mostly outdoors) a big hit. Cafe food service slow, but good when it came.β
