π London, Greater London
Independent bouldering gym in Brixton with 75+ problems graded to 8a, a spray wall with custom holds, 30- and 45-degree wood training boards, gym space, and a sauna. Built around community climbing culture.
Great setting, kitted out gym with a sauna and bonsai collection in the back countryard. This is my favourite place to boulder and work out in London. Killer vibe and a real character unlike the standard factory-setting climbing gyms London is so crowded by. Really couldn't recommend this place more for anyone wanting to climb harder or do some focused gym work.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for teenagers with established climbing interest who want a serious training environment and a genuine community rather than a casual taster session. The spray wall, angled boards, and coaching pathway make it strong for young climbers who are ready to progress deliberately.

βEasily one of the best climbing gyms in London. Has all that you need to train seriously plus an old school and super friendly atmosphere that makes this a great place to spend time. All made better by a great owner that cares about the community. Highly recommend checking this place out.β

βProbably the only gym in south london that really cares about its members. I havenβt found any other gym with blocfitβs atmosphere and climb setting. Other gyms may have more money, but they will never have what blocfit has.β

βReally great climbing gym, not too hard to get to and a cozy space. Perfect if you want a place to train hard and want a climbing space free of egos. I usually go during standard working times and it's not busy.β
