1 / 2Myatt's Fields Park
📍 London, Greater London
Community-run Victorian park in Camberwell with water-play playground, dog-free picnic zone, tennis, basketball and football courts, and the Little Cat Café serving organic food grown on-site.
What a lovely stroll in a local park not far from where we live. The park has many walk paths, greenery and views. There are several little garden sections which is also great. Tennis, basketball and football courts can also be rented out, there’s a beautiful hut at the centre of the park which is also great to take some photos or relax in there too! I recommend this park to anyone in the area who lives a stone throw away to visit here. I’m sure we will be back again as this is now our local gem or a park.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Families looking for a varied park that isn't crowded will find this a dependable choice. The dog-free picnic area suits families with very young children who need safe ground space. Water features activate in summer for playground play. Sports courts suit older children and teens.

“Although not very big, the children's playground is amazing with the water feature for the summer months, there is a big dog free area where people always picnic and have celebrations, there is a dog park, football and tennis pitches. It has a café. Just a lovely hidden park.”

“A lovely family park which boasts Ancient trees and a small quiet garden for contemplation. There is a place for hanging prayer bundles on the good medicine tree to remember loved ones and to ask our ancestors to send healing out across the world”
