1 / 3Canons Playground
đ Mitcham, Greater London
Outdoor adventure playground in Mitcham featuring three large wooden castle climbing structures, standard and baby swings, and a basket swing. Set in a walled area adjacent to the leisure centre with shaded parent seating.
First time I took my daughter here. What an awesome place. I'd say it does seem geared towards slightly older kids. My daughter is 2.5 years old and some of the climbing was a bit out of her league but that's no fault of the playground. The other thing to note is if it's been raining it can get really muddy so dress accordingly.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for children aged three and above who enjoy physical climbing challenges on wooden castle structures. The fort-style frames demand confidence rather than just size, making them more rewarding for active older children. Toddlers under two and a half will find most equipment out of reach.

Overview
Canons Playground sits in a walled area beside Mitcham leisure centre, anchored by three large wooden castle-themed climbing structures that challenge confident climbers. The site also has standard swings, baby swings, and a basket swing. Shaded seating for parents sits outside the main play area. The wooden structures are the main draw, offering fort-style play for children who enjoy height and physical challenge. Ground conditions can become muddy after sustained rain.
