1 / 3Cineworld Birmingham - Broad Street
📍 Birmingham, West Midlands
Multi-screen Broad Street cinema with 4DX motion technology — seats move with the action alongside wind, water mist, and lighting effects. Free parking on site. Special school-holiday screenings of family classics available.
I recently went to Cineworld to watch Demon Slayer in 4D, and it was one of the most exciting cinema experiences I’ve ever had. If you’ve never tried 4D before, I can’t recommend it enough – it completely changes how you watch a film. The seats move with the action, and you feel every battle strike, sword clash, and fast-paced chase scene. There were bursts of air, vibration effects, and even splashes of mist that made the intense moments even more immersive. The cinema itself was clean and well-kept, and the staff were helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They were quick with ticket checks and snack service, and everything ran smoothly. The seats were comfortable despite the motion, and they were positioned perfectly to give a great view of the screen. Watching Demon Slayer this way made it feel like I was right there fighting alongside Tanjiro and the rest of the characters. The sound was loud and crisp without being overwhelming, and the visuals were stunning – every detail of the animation really popped on the big screen. Snacks and drinks were fresh, with plenty of options to choose from, and the ability to book online made the whole process super convenient. Overall, this was a five-star experience and easily the best way to watch a high-action anime film. I’ll definitely be coming back to Cineworld for more 4D movies in the future – it’s absolutely worth it!
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children old enough to handle motion seats and sensory effects — the 4DX format genuinely transforms action and adventure films. Free parking and school-holiday classic screenings add practical value. Children who are sensitive to sudden movement, loud sound, or strobe effects should stick to standard screens.

“I really think this is a cinema with heart. During the summer holidays, they offered a £1 deal for kids and families to enjoy the fun of watching movies together. The environment is clean and well-maintained, and the décor is very trendy. The toilets are spotless and they even provide free parking, which is super thoughtful. I’ll definitely be coming back again!”

“Had a great time at Cineworld Birmingham Broad Street. Loved being able to watch classic Christmas movies for just £2 each. Home Alone and The Polar Express were brilliant on the big screen – such a nostalgic experience. Great value and a really enjoyable visit. Would definitely recommend! 🎄🎬”

“What an amazing experience, 4DX was on a different level. Spray of water mist, wind lighting was amazing. But the seats it self reminded me of a rollercoaster ride. I will definitely will come again. Got a family pop corn deal which was around £21.”
