1 / 3Claremont Park
π London, Greater London
Well-maintained urban park in north London featuring modern playground equipment, water play areas, wildflower planting, a small lake, and an on-site cafe. Free entry with nearby parking. Security patrolled with SOS buttons installed.
I was with my daughter in this park on Tuesday afternoon. It wasn't busy. The place is very nice, lots of greenery and flowers which make it look like a meadow. There is a small lake with beautiful water lilies and many benches along the path. The playground is very big, clean and well organized. There are water pumps, sandpits, swings, slides and obstacle courses. My daughter was very happy. There is a cafe and toilets by the playground. Parking is available in front of the park. The only downside is the noise coming from the building site which is right next to the park. But for children who like to look at construction machinery, especially big cranes, it will be a lot of fun. Next to this park, there is another playground, as nice as this one, but without the water pumps. I highly recommend visiting this park with children.
π Family Action Verdict
Families with children aged 5 and up get the most from the playground equipment, which is designed for junior rather than toddler users. The landscaped setting with the lake and wildflowers makes it genuinely picturesque for a London park. The on-site cafe and security presence add to the appeal.

βNice urban park with modern equipment and climbing frames. There's an on-site cafe serving hot drinks and cakes/pastries and ice-cream. Security guards regularly patrol the park giving parents assurance of it's safety. There are emergency SOS buttons around the park, but not in service.β

βVery picturesque park and well maintained. The water play looks really nice. There are a few things for little children but most things are for juniors. I really like the wild flowers next to the pavement.β

βSuch a lovely little find! We actually drove past and had to turn back once we spotted it β and Iβm so glad we did. The decor is beautiful, the atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and itβs such a picturesque spot. The coffee and staff were amazing too. Thereβs limited parking outside (around 20 minutes), which is the only downside, as itβs definitely somewhere youβd want to stay longer. Will absolutely be back!β
