I was with my daughter in this park on Tuesday afternoon. It wasn't busy. The place is very nice, lots of greenery and flowers which make it look like a meadow. There is a small lake with beautiful water lilies and many benches along the path. The playground is very big, clean and well organized. There are water pumps, sandpits, swings, slides and obstacle courses. My daughter was very happy. There is a cafe and toilets by the playground. Parking is available in front of the park. The only downside is the noise coming from the building site which is right next to the park. But for children who like to look at construction machinery, especially big cranes, it will be a lot of fun. Next to this park, there is another playground, as nice as this one, but without the water pumps. I highly recommend visiting this park with children.

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Families with children aged 5 and up get the most from the playground equipment, which is designed for junior rather than toddler users. The landscaped setting with the lake and wildflowers makes it genuinely picturesque for a London park. The on-site cafe and security presence add to the appeal.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Most play equipment suits juniors rather than toddlers β€” factor this in with very young children
⏰Parking immediately outside has a short time restriction β€” check signage on arrival
🎟️The on-site cafe serves hot drinks, cakes, pastries, and ice cream
πŸš—Dogs must be kept on leads throughout β€” enforcement is active

β€œNice urban park with modern equipment and climbing frames. There's an on-site cafe serving hot drinks and cakes/pastries and ice-cream. Security guards regularly patrol the park giving parents assurance of it's safety. There are emergency SOS buttons around the park, but not in service.”

β€œVery picturesque park and well maintained. The water play looks really nice. There are a few things for little children but most things are for juniors. I really like the wild flowers next to the pavement.”

β€œSuch a lovely little find! We actually drove past and had to turn back once we spotted it β€” and I’m so glad we did. The decor is beautiful, the atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and it’s such a picturesque spot. The coffee and staff were amazing too. There’s limited parking outside (around 20 minutes), which is the only downside, as it’s definitely somewhere you’d want to stay longer. Will absolutely be back!”
