1 / 2Colindale Park Childrens Playground
π London, Greater London
Spacious modern playground in Colindale Park featuring contemporary climbing equipment and open green space. Recent reviews are split between praise for the modern equipment and notes about a central climbing structure and litter.
Colindale Park Childrens Playground is a great spot for families, with plenty of space for kids to run and play. The area feels open and inviting, and the playground equipment is modern and well-maintained. Itβs a lovely place to relax while little ones enjoy a safe and fun environment.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with active children aged 7 and up who can safely handle the large central climbing structure with adult supervision. The modern equipment and open space work well for energetic children. Families with toddlers or children who need close supervision on height should assess the central structure carefully before play.

βA very spacious, clean and green playground. So beautiful and modern, close to a host of amenities and definitely one of the best parks in Barnet.β

βA grassed triangular area with an enclosed childrenβs playground and nothing much else. The area is denuded of enhancing plants and shrubs with the 'landscape' consequently lacking texture and colour while appearing enervated. Despite my criticism the kids here seem to be having a great time of it.β

βColindale Park: Now Featuring Rats as the Main Attraction Iβve lived in Colindale for years, and it breaks my heart to see whatβs happened to our park. What was once a little green escape now feels like a landfill with bonus wildlife β and not the good kind. Thereβs litter everywhere, bins overflowing, and people chucking bread and food scraps around, turning the place into an all-you-can-eat buffet for the local rat population. These arenβt shy little creatures either β theyβre bold and everywhere, like theyβve claimed the park for themselves. And while weβre at it: whatβs that weird structure/βattractionβ at top of the park where all the pigeons sit? The one absolutely plastered in bird droppings? Is that meant to be art, or just an oversized perch? Either way, itβs disgusting. Itβs embarrassing that a community park has been left to rot like this. We deserve better. Clean it up, get rid of the rats, stop the pigeon mess, and give Colindale Park back to the people β not the rodents and birds.β
