1 / 3Coral Reef Waterworld
📍 Bracknell, Greater London
Large indoor water park in Bracknell featuring an erupting volcano, multiple waterslides, pirate ship, splash pad, and a toddler-friendly main pool. Accessible facilities include hoists and a Changing Places room.
🏞️ First Impressions & Arrival Coral Reef Waterworld in Bracknell stands out as one of the most impressive indoor water parks I’ve ever visited. Upon arrival, we were greeted by ample parking facilities, including designated spaces for disabled badge holders, which made access smooth and stress-free. The exterior of the park is visually striking, with towering slides and vibrant aquatic-themed architecture that immediately builds excitement for what’s inside. 🎟️ Booking & Entry Experience We visited on the final day of the October half-term, which meant there were no queues at the entrance—a pleasant surprise. Booking online was straightforward. For two adults and two children, the total cost was £66.80. Interestingly, the price difference between booking tickets separately and purchasing a family ticket was only 10p, which felt unusual given that family bundles typically offer more substantial savings. Nonetheless, the pricing was reasonable for a full day of entertainment. 👙 Facilities & Cleanliness Inside, the retail area offered a wide selection of swimsuits and goggles at fair prices, catering to both children and adults. The changing rooms were spotless and well-maintained, reflecting a strong commitment to hygiene. Lockers were small but secure, requiring a £1 coin to operate—a fair and common system that added peace of mind for storing valuables. 🌊 Pool Layout & Safety The pool area was immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed. On the right side lies the deep end, while the left side features a shallower section suitable for younger swimmers. As you move forward, both sections merge into a deeper zone, so caution is advised for those less confident in the water. Lifeguards were present and attentive, contributing to a safe and reassuring environment. 🎢 Slide Variety & Thrills Coral Reef boasts an impressive array of slides catering to various age groups and thrill levels: • The Cannon: A red tube slide and the fastest of them all—ideal for adrenaline seekers. • Aqua Splash: The gentlest option, perfect for children aged 5 and up. • Poseidon’s Peril: A double tube slide with sharp twists, suitable for children over 8. • Storm Chaser: Another double tube slide, slightly slower, accessible to kids aged 6 and above. • Maelstrom: A thrilling double slide that reverses direction midway, adding a unique twist to the ride. Each slide is clearly marked with age and height requirements, ensuring safety and enjoyment for all. 🚻 Hygiene & Maintenance The toilets were exceptionally clean, and the presence of multiple janitors throughout the facility ensured that hygiene standards remained high throughout the day. This attention to cleanliness was consistent across all areas of the park. ☕ Café & Relaxation The on-site café offered a pleasant space to unwind, with a clear view of the pool area. It’s a great spot for parents to relax while keeping an eye on their children. The menu was varied and reasonably priced, making it easy to enjoy a snack or meal without leaving the premises. 💸 Final Thoughts If you’re looking for a full day of fun and relaxation, Coral Reef Waterworld is a fantastic choice. With a budget of around £50, you can enjoy a memorable experience filled with excitement, cleanliness, and family-friendly amenities. Highly recommended for families seeking a well-rounded aquatic adventure.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children aged 4 and up who want a full session of waterslides and interactive features. The warm water and dedicated splash area make it accessible for toddlers. Visit on a weekday outside of school holidays for the most space — half-term sessions can become congested and the 90-minute window feels rushed when queues build.

“🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Amazing Family Fun at Coral Reef Waterworld! My family of three had an incredible 90-minute session at Coral Reef Waterworld and we were thoroughly impressed! As Bracknell’s largest water park, it’s got everything from gentle play areas to thrilling slides . 🧒 Great for families The interactive pirate ship, bubble pool, rapids, and fountains kept our little one entertained, while the kids’ area – Little Corals – offers safe, shallow water fun . There was a lovely mix of gentle Aqua Splash and more intense slides for older kids. 🎢 Fantastic slides We totally recommend the adrenaline‑pumping Cannonball (simply called Cannon on site) and the swirling Maelstrom – both gave enough thrill but weren’t so extreme that we couldn’t ride together. The slides aren’t too crowded and queue times stayed reasonable throughout our visit. 👨👩👦 Not too crowded Even mid‑afternoon on a weekend, it never felt overcrowded plenty of room to move, and slides had short wait times. Perfect if you want that family fun without long lines. 💷 Reasonably priced We paid under £50 for the three of us, and that included our waterslide session and pool access. With Family Swim tickets just under that mark (online booking applies) and session durations of 90 minutes , it felt like fantastic value compared to similar attractions. 🍽️ Handy facilities Changing rooms are great – family cubicles, toddler seats, lockers – and the poolside café is a saviour for coffee and snacks while watching the kids . ⸻ Why you’ll love it: • Tailor-made for families with varied attractions for every age 🌊 • Excellent slide options from gentle to thrilling (Cannon & Maelstrom are big hits!) • Efficient online booking, relaxed queues, and just-right crowd levels • All-inclusive experience for under £50 for a family of three If you’re after a fun, hassle‑free day out that keeps everyone, kids and adults delighted, Coral Reef is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back!”

“We recently visited a swimming pool with slides not far from West London, and it was nothing short of amazing. The location was convenient, making it easy to get to with the kids — and once we arrived, the fun began! My children especially loved the slides — they couldn’t get enough! The whole place had a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere that made it perfect for a day out. What truly stood out to me was the outstanding service. The staff were incredibly professional, warm, and helpful throughout our visit. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed and well looked after. A huge thank you to the team for making our experience so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back — this place is now a firm family favourite!”

“We visited at half term weekend in the afternoon. Even though you have to book, I felt that it was too crowded. It was difficult to move around without getting in people's way. The splash part for little kids was great and it is great that the water is warm. The kiddie slides are good and my 4 year old was happy with them (we didn't try the big slides). I felt that there was far too much chlorine as we had stinging eyes from the get go. The staff on the tills were nice but the staff cleaning up the changing rooms were not at all caring of customers. They had cordoned off one section of lockers and changing rooms to sweep. It was where our locker was. I was happy to wait as I understand it needed cleaning. However, they spent more time standing chatting to each other (3 people to sweep one pathway?) than actually sweeping, even though we were standing there waiting. Also, the changing rooms are so unbearably hot! I would visit again but not in a school holiday.”
