Great place for a day out. We went to coral Reef swimming pool ad then found this gem after. There's a playground for all ages which is enclosed so no run away kids. There's a forest that got excellent bike trails, walking trails and a mini bike park. Go ape is also there so you can watch people doing the zip wire as well. A cafe that does hot food and drinks, plus plenty of seats and tables

πŸ† Family Action Verdict

Best for families with mixed-age children who want an outdoor full-day visit combining enclosed playground safety with forest exploration. The gated layout lets parents manage multiple children with confidence. Families with bikes should bring them for the trails and mini bike park.

ℹ️ What to Know Before You Go

πŸ’‘Bring bikes β€” the forest has dedicated trails and a mini bike park suited to young riders
⏰Paid parking applies on site; the playground and forest walks are free once parked
🎟️Baby changing is in the disabled toilet inside the main building
πŸš—Combine with Coral Reef swimming pool nearby for a longer family day out

β€œReally lovely playground. Different abilities, well maintained clean. You need to pay for parking but the actual playground/woods are free to walk around. Playgrounds are split up (for older/younger children). Gates to stop children going in/out. Toilets available in the main building and are clean. Baby change is available in the disabled toilet.”

β€œThis is a fantastic place for kids to enjoy outdoor play in nature. There are separate play areas for older and younger children, which makes it safe and fun for everyone. The space is quite large, so kids have plenty of room to explore, run, and play freely. It’s a wonderful spot for families to spend time together outdoors.”
