“A friendly, local leisure centre with two fab swimming pools. I wish the public swimming times were more flexible though, with better times in the bigger pool for adult swimming times.”

“It’s a fairly standard leisure centre, but the gym itself is quite small and in serious need of updated equipment. Swapping out two treadmills for stairmasters would be a great improvement, along with adding a bicep curl machine and a pec fly machine. Right now, it only offers the bare minimum, which is a real shame. That said, the atmosphere is good, the music isn’t overpowering, so it doesn’t interfere with headphones, though it does get repetitive with the same 15 songs on loop. The staff are approachable, but like in most gyms, you barely notice them, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Please consider upgrading the gym. Given its limited space, making the most of it with better equipment would make a huge difference”
