Municipal pool in Birkenhead with a main swimming pool, gym, and free parking passes from staff. Changing facilities are better downstairs. The fun pool with waves and bubbles has permanently closed.
Its got a good pool and a great large open gym. The staff are all helpful and friendly and you get a free pass for the carparks. Its also only a couple of minutes walk from both Conway Park station and the main bus station. Overall, I couldn't fault it even if I wanted to.

“Depressing to see what its become, used to be a great swimming fun centre. Running machines are a bit old but work. Lockers require 20ps and the water fountain was covered in snot.”

“Upstairs changing area and showers are disgusting. There’s mould everywhere, moss, silicone smeared all over the place, dust, and other gross stuff. It’s unbelievable the council can’t find a few hundred pounds for basic maintenance to keep it to a decent standard. Downstairs is worn out too, but at least it doesn’t feel like you’re going to catch something nasty. The pool itself is fine.”
