1 / 3Everyman Manchester St. John's
π Manchester, North West
Luxury independent cinema in Manchester's ABC Building with three boutique screens, plush sofa seating, and in-seat waiter service. Dedicated Baby Club and Toddler Club screenings run alongside the regular programme.
My favourite cinema lounge ever in the world. Feeling the luxury and excitement, a cosy environment. The food and drinks are very good. Feeling like in a special place. Would highly recommend.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with babies and toddlers during dedicated club screenings, or older children and teens who will appreciate the in-seat food and drinks service. The sophisticated setting rewards families who come prepared for a sit-down dining experience alongside their film. No on-site parking β plan public transport in advance.

βThis place is a gem in the heart of the city. I visited in September to present a talk to the wonderful Women in Criminal Law, so I didnβt attend to dine or watch a film. However, it was an evening to remember, and a fantastic venue. I arrived early and a good job too. Itβs a little tricky to find the way in. Always look up is my tip. The entrance is through a splendid gallery, and I only realised this once spying the Everyman sign high up above the gallery door. I still entered rather hesitantly, with a feeling that perhaps I shouldnβt be there, but once through the galley, found the bar, and realised I absolutely should! The bar itself is a sight to behold. Sumptuous soft furnishings and mood lighting against a brutalist concrete backdrop. There are various seating nooks around the entrances to the various screens. The bar seems well stocked and I received a friendly welcome. I was on coffee, given I was both speaking and later driving, and this was good quality. I didnβt sample but had a look through the menu, which was tempting indeed. Our evening was held in screen 3 (I think), in which seats were in pairs with little tables for drinks. I include my presenterβs view from the front in my photos. It was a fabulous cozy cinema and I am hoping to make a return trip for an evening out here to see a film sometime. My husband would love this.β

βOne of the most special cinemas Iβve ever been to. From the moment I arrived, I was treated really well and everyone was very kind. The dΓ©cor is very elegant β it feels like youβre in a movie because of how beautiful it is. I went to see The Lord of the Rings: Part One and I loved it. I highly recommend the Oreo milkshake, itβs delicious, and the staffβs service is excellent. The next time Iβm back in Manchester, Iβll definitely come again.β
