1 / 3Fairlop Waters Boulder Park
đ Ilford, Greater London
Free concrete bouldering park set in beautiful parkland with varied difficulty routes for children through advanced climbers. Flat, accessible paths throughout suit buggies and wheelchair users.
My absolute favourite park in the whole area. It has so many different things to do, and is beautiful. Plus I've never seen so many things to climb in one park. Great for kids, dogs, and adults. It's also very flat and has paths that go past everything so it's good for buggies and wheelchair users. Also has a car park.
đ Family Action Verdict
A strong choice for active families wanting outdoor climbing without any admission cost. Children can start on the lower, easier structures and progress to the overhanging problems as confidence grows. The accessible paths and open parkland mean non-climbing family members have plenty of space to enjoy the surroundings.

âWe went here as a small mixed group not knowing what to expect. The Park is a beautiful setting for the boulder park, and all boulders were clean. The boulders have a decent with a mix of difficulties keeping most of us entertained during our time. Nice to be outside. Will definitely go again.â

âGreat free bouldering. A bit weird with the concrete but amazing on a warm day to be outside climbing in London. Good variety of routes from beginners and kids to quite tasty overhang on 3m+ which you probably want a crash mat for.â
