1 / 3Fairlop Oak Playground
đ Ilford, Greater London
Fairlop Oak Playground in Ilford features a fenced under-7s section and an older-children's zone with zip wire, climbing structures, and swings, set alongside a large field used for cricket and football. On-site car park available.
Nice and well maintained, a lot of fun for adventurous toddlers. They have two different areas (under 7s and above), with benches and a car park nearby.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families with mixed-age children who want one site that caters to toddlers and older primary-age kids simultaneously. The zip wire and large field keep older children occupied. Less crowded than many equivalent London playgrounds. Some older equipment pieces show wear â check before use.

âA lovely green space, with a large playground for kids, including a small playground for under 5s and an activity area including a zip wore swings etc for older kids. A big field next to the play area which is opposite fairlop Waters!â

âA big playground which can accommodate three cricket and multiple football matches at the same time in the redbridge area. Also, the children's play area is well maintained with less crowd.â

Overview
Fairlop Oak Playground divides into two distinct zones: a smaller fenced area for children under 7 with age-appropriate apparatus, and a larger section for older children featuring a zip wire, swings, and climbing structures. Three entrance gates provide flexible access. A large adjacent field accommodates several cricket matches simultaneously. On-site parking and pram-accessible paths make the site practical for families. Some equipment shows its age.
