1 / 3Gurnell Concrete Skatepark and Bowl
π London, Greater London
Free outdoor concrete skatepark next to Gurnell Leisure Centre featuring bowl sections, a pump track, and grippy surfaces for skateboarding, scootering, and cycling. All ages and skill levels welcome.
I love this place. Every evening there will be people coming to skateboard, scooter or cycle. You will find all the age groups in this park. I am learning my basics of skateboarding here whenever I am free. It's close to the bus stop and has a big parking area with a car wash in it. It's a must-visit place if you are into skating or scooter stunts.
π Family Action Verdict
Best for families with children learning skateboarding, scootering, or BMX from scratch. The concrete surface is well-suited to trick progression and the community atmosphere is welcoming to newcomers. The pump track alongside the main bowl adds variety. Visit during daylight hours β evening lighting has been reported as inadequate.

βTook my grandson here and he really felt it was a good and interesting site. I noticed it was well used (but not crowded) by a good range of ages and abilities. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We had an enjoyable few hours.β

Overview
Gurnell Concrete Skatepark sits alongside Gurnell Leisure Centre and includes a concrete bowl, pump track, and open skating areas with a grippy surface that reviewers rate as ideal for learning tricks. The skatepark is free to use and attracts a mixed community of skateboarders, scooter riders, and cyclists across all age groups. Floodlights are fitted, and they have been reported as unreliable.
