1 / 3Lode Lane Playground
đ Solihull, West Midlands
Neighbourhood playground in Solihull with four pieces of play equipment suited to toddlers and children under 5. A perimeter path attracts joggers and families with bikes. Dog walkers share the surrounding grassy space. Can get muddy after rain.
Good place for families. Now the path runs around the four edges of the park it attracts joggers, families with small tots on bikes or just those enjoying the outdoors. It used to be a haven for troublesome teenagers, drug taking was rife along with damage caused to the equipment provided. Completely different place now many thanks to the "Friends of Damson Park".
đ Family Action Verdict
Toddlers and children under 5 are well-served by the four pieces of equipment here, which reviewers confirm are maintained in good condition. The perimeter path adds a secondary activity for young cyclists alongside the play area. Families with children aged 6 and up are likely to find the equipment range too sparse for a dedicated visit.
