📍 London, Greater London
Premium indoor soft play centre for ages 0–6 with transparent walls for easy supervision, climbing structures, and an on-site T4 bubble tea bar. Birthday parties and music and drama classes available.
Amazing Kids Play Area with a Nice Café! This place is a fantastic spot for kids! The play area is super fun, clean, and full of different activities that keep children entertained for hours. It’s well-organized and safe, which gave me peace of mind while the kids played. What I also loved is the café inside — they serve great coffee and even have bubble tea (boba), which was a nice surprise! It’s the perfect place to relax while watching the little ones have fun. Definitely recommend it for families looking for a fun and comfortable place to spend time.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
Best for babies and toddlers under 3.5 years who need a clean, contained space with engaged parental supervision built into the layout. The transparent design means you never lose sight of your child. Off-peak term-time sessions offer the best experience — school-holiday sessions can become crowded enough to limit movement on the equipment.

“Infant and Toddler play space 🐧👶 This is the second Macaroni Penguin I’ve attended, the first being Royal Wharf when it first opened. I’m really glad to see they have opened a venue in the West. The materials are new. It’s clean. They have great facilities and tables to sit down. I would say it’s not for bigger children. Which I personally love, because it means there’s a great space for infants and toddlers to enjoy. The sessions are an hour long and they offer multiple during the day, with half hour between to clean up before the next session. I also don’t think there is anything wrong with the price. If you don’t like the peak price, don’t come in during peak. I think the £10 for an hour session for off peak is great. Is it the biggest soft play/play cafe, no. But they don’t claim to be. But it’s perfect for my crawling toddler. I do agree with another review that the music is way too loud. It would be great if it was half the volume. Or just pumped into the restaurant and not the whole building. It can get a little overwhelming with parents talking, kids playing and the music really loud. Sometimes it’s at the right level, other days it just takes over the space. Especially when it’s empty and not needed loud. Overall we have been multiple times now. My toddler loves it so we will keep coming back. It definitely more fun when it’s quieter, and sometimes it’s luck of the draw with the numbers. I will say I won’t come during school holidays as it’s too busy, but during term time it’s great for my crawling toddler to burn some energy. It’s located in the ground floor of the river side of the power station. The lift to the right of the river entrance will take you straight down. (Photos taken pre Christmas 2024)”

“We have been coming here for two years and always enjoyed it, but our last two visits were very disappointing. The main issue is how staff handle the end of sessions. At exactly the minute the session ends, they begin tidying and spraying strong sanitizing chemicals — even while children are still inside and parents are trying to calmly transition toddlers out. Toddlers need a few minutes to understand that playtime is over, and the pressure created feels unnecessary, especially when there is a long enough gap between sessions. On both recent visits, staff members displayed visible frustration and gave my child uncomfortable, aggressive looks for minor things like touching items that had already been tidied. As a parent standing right next to my child, this felt inappropriate and unprofessional. I understand the need for cleaning and structure, but customer service and child-friendly behavior are equally important in a kids’ play environment. Management need to review staff training and allow a short grace period at the end of sessions to make the experience better”
