Fantastic experience at Playbox Croydon! We hosted my partner’s 40th birthday here and couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Robert, the manager, and his staff were brilliant — he worked within our budget and offered flexible packages including a reserved area, entertainment, drinks and food vouchers. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the move between two areas of the venue during the evening was completely seamless. A nice extra was the coat rail, which allowed us to set up our own cloakroom. Also worth noting: Playbox has a very different (and great) atmosphere from Boxpark Croydon, even though it’s part of the same complex. Highly recommend for celebrations!

“Friendly, helpful, and attentive staff, and a really nice atmosphere overall. Plenty of games to choose from, which makes it a fun place to spend time. The arcade room is quite small, so it would be great if that was a bit bigger, but the pool, darts, and shuffleboard more than make up for it and offer something a bit different for Croydon. They currently have January offers on, which makes it really good value for money — it would be nice if prices stayed closer to this throughout the year. Overall though, a great spot and I’d definitely go back.”

“highly recommend this place! The staff were lovely and went out of their way to be helpful. I especially enjoyed the darts and arcade games, and the happy hour deals were fantastic. The music created the perfect atmosphere. I'll definitely be returning!"”

“Brilliant place! Went to Bottomless Brunch yesterday and it was fantastic. The staff were so attentive, the drinks were delicious and the games were so much fun! We’ll definitely be back when next in the area!”

The arcade area is compact — pool, darts, and shuffleboard provide the bulk of the active play space.
