Priscilla’s Play Café
📍 Croydon, Greater London
Timed sessions for children up to 5 years old, with a maximum of 10 children per mixed session and a dedicated under-2s zone. Advance booking via the website secures your slot, and tickets are transferable with notice.
First visit today and my daughter loved it! We have tried nearly every soft play in South London and she never thrived or felt confident like she did here. I think the intimate sizing and limit to under 5s only is best for my daughter and other kids who find interactions with other scary. The play cafe has a separate area for under 2s which great. The range of foods ans drinks on offer are vast and the prices are so reasonable. You can walk in like I did today but booking is best via the site. I really enjoyed my time here as much as my daughter did as for once I saw her feel comfortable and I was stress free, as there was no tears of anxiety (from either of us). You have full view of the play area from the dining area so if your little one has separation anxiety they'll feel comfortable seeing you so close. The climbing frame is great size for toddlers and not too overwhelming, as I have seem many soft plays have steps that can't be done without adult help. I would give here 10/10 and the service was so friendly and approachable. I'll definitely be back.
🏆 Family Action Verdict
The top choice for families with babies and toddlers up to 5, especially children who find big soft plays overstimulating or intimidating. The strict capacity cap means your child is never competing with a crowd, and the under-2s zone gives the youngest visitors their own safe space.

“I visited today with my partner and 8month old baby. We absolutely loved it! The centre was the perfect size, with a good max amount of children in at one time. It was extremely clean and ideal for my son to play in. Additionally, the lady (possibly called Stacey) who worked there was very friendly, polite and professional. She was welcoming and very attentive, even when they got busy. We will definitely return. Lovely to see a place that is concerned with the experience being clean and enjoyable, rather than just making loads of money and allowing loads of children in to pack out the place. Thanks for the great customer service and experience.”

“We are regulars at Priscilla's - my eldest has loved going there since he was 9 months old and still does aged nearly 2, and can see it keeping him entertained for another year at least. Clean and well maintained, and a perfect size for younger kids who might find the massive soft plays a bit overwhelming - and much nicer for parents too! Stacey is so welcoming - I often come with my younger baby in tow and she will help keep an eye on the eldest while I'm feeding which is massively appreciated. It's affordable and I like that they offer a class pass so you can save money by buying a number of passes in one go.”

“Best money I’ve spent since my kids arrived! This place is great - it’s small enough that the little ones can really have fun without being intimidated by the size or by big kids, and when they’re a bit bigger they can go around on their own, which means you can let them run off all that excess energy safely while you watch over the rim of your cup of tea. The food and drink is simple, child-friendly, and always top notch, and service is excellent - whether there’s a dozen families or you’re on your own. The online booking is really easy to use, and the multi-buy ticket is such great value. Well worth a visit!”
