đ London, Greater London
Large free-entry park in North Woolwich with an extensive Thames-front promenade, children's playground, basketball court, tennis court, and outdoor gym equipment. Connects to Gallions Point Wildlife Area.
A great place for kids and walk loving people. Greenery all around mesmerises you. Pigeons, different types of crows and big fat squirrels attract you. They are human friendly . Located near Thames this place has won my heart.
đ Family Action Verdict
Best for families who want a spacious, uncrowded outdoor space combining playground time with a riverside walk and wildlife spotting. The connection to Gallions Point Wildlife Area extends the day significantly. Toilet facilities are present and often poorly stocked â bring hand sanitiser and a small pack of tissues.

âLovely clean park. It was soo peaceful and relaxing. A good way to spend time with nature. Nice views of the River Thames, boats and ferry. Toilets located in the children's park area. A few of the toilets were not clean and only had limited toilet roll. There was also no soap available. I would recommend bringing your own toilet roll and hand sanitizer. There is a table tennis table, basket ball court, little multi-gym area. There was a kiosk but it was not open when we got there so not sure if it actually opens or closes a certain time.â

âLarge, spacious park with an extensive riverfront promenade offering views of the Woolwich Ferry. From the eastern end, it is possible to continue walking along the river bank, passing through a gate that you have to press a button to enter, to the Gallions Point Riverside Wildlife Area.â
